Having an iPhone could be more dangerous than having an Android
The security of the mobile operating system of a smartphone is important, protecting your privacy too, but the emergency functions are even more so.
Apple continues to refuse to activate a feature called Advanced Mobile Location (AML)in iOS, a feature that has been on Android for some time.
Enabling AML (Advanced Mobile Location) would provide very useful emergency services since it detects the location automatically and in a really accurate way . This greatly reduces the response time of rescue services, ambulances and state forces.Must Read:How to get iPhone out of recovery mode ?If you ever lost or accidentally deleted data from your iOS device, you can use the professional Gihosoft iPhone Recovery software to retrieve important data from iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch even without backup.
Android saves lives thanks to this feature
Google successfully implemented the AML function for Android smartphones, and thanks to it the company is managing to save many lives around the planet . But while Android users now feel much safer, iOS users feel like they are lagging behind.
The EENA (European Emergency Numbers Association) has asked Apple to consider the safety of its customers by participating in this program:
"AS AML IS BEING ACTIVATED IN MORE AND MORE COUNTRIES, IPHONE USERS ARE AT A DISADVANTAGE COMPARED TO ANDROID USERS IN RELATION TO EMERGENCIES."
